Goldberg Variations

On Saturday, I dressed up houseguest Bill/turbillion and took him to a local circuit rasslin' match held at the town firehouse in Stem, North Carolina. (According to an article in the always authoritative Wikipedia, the population of Stem is either "229" or "32,789,229".)

Lots of bizarre characters, outlandish costumes, and cartoonish racial and cultural stereotypes -- and that was just in the audience. I'll leave it to Bill to post pictures of the matches, but here are a couple of my favorite audience members - a local Daddy who was hotter than anyone in the ring, and a crazy woman who spent the evening screaming at the wrestlers and occasionally spouting racial slurs.
