Blink

Just saw Julian Schnabel's The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Very good, but I have one nagging question -- maybe someone who's read the book can enlighten me. Wouldn't it have saved a LOT of time if Bauby's therapists had spent a week or so teaching him Morse Code?
